Dr. Gómez Specializes in Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations
Dr. Gómez approaches each of her evaluations with compassion, care, and empathy. She provides a welcoming and affirming space for individuals to share their experiences and concerns. All evaluations are comprehensive, including a thorough clinical interview, and the administration of well-established and validated assessment instruments. These evaluations assess the level of psychological impact, emotional distress, or cognitive impairment, if any, that may be affecting an individual. They are often recommended by third parties, including attorneys, employers, or schools, who would like to know more information about an individual. Dr. Gómez works closely with these third parties to ensure that all aspects of the case are considered. All evaluations include a comprehensive written report that details the results of the evaluation and any recommendations.

Gifted
The needs of gifted students are far too often overlooked and unmet. With appropriate intellectual testing, the strengths of a gifted student can be identified, and suggestions can be made about a suitable educational placement.
